I took a trip to see the iconic Great Dixter House and Gardens. The combinations of plants and flowers was so indescribably inspiring. I have left the photos in the order of my journey around the gardens, I hope that you can get an idea of the flow of colour, form and feel of the different areas. I really need to paint some of these photos as the colour palettes are divine, I think they would translate into some really lovely paintings and all over patterns for my products such as my wrapping paper.

Great Dixter is a historic house, a garden, a centre of education, and a place of pilgrimage for horticulturists from across the world. I visited the garden in August. You can see more information and opening times here.
